Hello, I am Yumeng Wu, a first-generation college student from Lijiang, China - a city celebrated for its relaxed, harmonious architecture. As the only female Chinese student at Texas Tech University's Huckabee College of Architecture, I bring a distinct perspective shaped by my cultural heritage and experiences.
Throughout my architectural journey, I have explored how thoughtful design can alleviate daily stresses by incorporating natural elemnts like water, light and greenary. My design philosophy focuses on blending diverse architectural styles to create spaces that are both emotionally calming and highly functional, offering a fresh perspective on contemporary dessign.
